ORDER |
The Discalced Carmelite Secular Order is
the third branch of the Teresian Carmel made
up of lay people and clerics, who though
in a state of life externally different from
the Friars and Nuns, share the same vocation
to holiness and mission in the Church and
in the world. Faithful to the Constitutions
of the Secular Order and the Rule of St.
Albert, we seek to live in allegiance to
Jesus Christ by fostering contemplative prayer
and a loving participation in the liturgical
life under the protection of the Blessed
Virgin Mary, Mother and Queen of Carmel.
The Infant Jesus Community at St. Andrew's
Parish welcomes inquiries by anyone who feels
God's call to follow Him in Carmel. Please
contact the Parish office for more information. |
| BIBLE STUDY GROUP |
The bible study groups meet to gain insight
into the Word of God. The group is led by
bible scholar Father Dominic Borg, OCD. Feel
free to drop in at any of the meetings: Tuesdays
at 8pm in the church hall. Meetings are held weekly from September
through June. |
| CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE |
The C.W.L. offers women many opportunities
to be involved in the service
of our Church
and our community. The
CWL Craft circle meets
Thursdays at 7:00pm in
the church hall.
All women over the age of 16 are welcome
to attend our September meeting on Sept 12,
2011 at 7:00pm in the parish hall.
